Summer Fun

Hi everyone!! Hope you're all enjoying your summer! We sure are! We've been quite busy, to say the least! Carly was hospitalized when she was 2 weeks old for a fever and we found out she had a urinary tract infection! It was very scary, but she is doing very well now and gaining weight like a little piglet!! And there was another addition to our family, Jayda, she was born 2 weeks after Carly, so we know they will be the best of friends! I'm now an aunt and so proud!!! Josie is busy swimming at the pool and playing outside every chance she gets! We made it to Sturgis Falls Celebration last weekend and that was a blast! Josie got her face painted and loved it, which I'm glad because the line took over an hour!!! She also rode some fun rides with Mom and Dad. Carly is approaching 7 weeks old and I can't believe how the time is flying!! She is already rolling over and smiling and cooing like crazy!! There is never a dull moment in our household!

We had a photo shoot at home! Carly is 2 weeks old here.

My new niece, Jayda! She's adorable!

Poor Carly in the hospital...I had to take a picture :(

Josie with her new cousin, Jayda

Chelsea's holding Carly and I'm holding Jayda. Josie's so proud to be smack dab in the middle!

I had to take a picture of Carly with the adorable bonnet on!

We were getting her to smile so big, she almost laughed!

Daddy's trying to get a big smile out of her!

Josie's taking a break from swimming, a very short break!
Swimming and having fun in our back yard. She loves pretending she's Ariel and I'm Eric...thanks!

Josie the butterfly

It was amazing how still she sat while getting her face painted. She didn't flinch, she's even sitting on her hands!!

Riding the merry-g0-round with Nana

Riding the race cars with Dad-that ride was her favorite!

Riding the big slide with Mom. She looks petrified, I was pretty scared, too!

Carly's first days

I've been meaning to put more pictures of Carly on here, but things have been a little busy!! Josie is adjusting very well to being the "big sister" and Carly is such a good baby. I didn't know they could sleep that much!! She is almost 3 weeks old and growing and changing every day.

Cuddling with mom, she is such a good cuddler, it's impossible to put her down!

Sleeping Beauty

What a proud big sister

Carly is 4 days old here.

It's a Girl!!

IT'S A GIRL!!! Here she is...Carly Abigail!! She was born on May 16th at 12:27 a.m.
Weighing 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 in. long. She looks just like Josie did when she was born!!! Everyone is doing fine and healthy!! We are soooooo blessed and happy for our two princesses! Josie is such a sweetheart, already kissing and talking "baby talk" to her! It's the sweetest thing I've ever seen. She's even "hogging" Carly and wanting no one else to hold her! I'll definately be posting more pics soon, just wanted to get a few up.

Josie's twin calves

I had to post these pictures of Josie with some twin calves at my parents' farm! She had so much fun playing with them, they were only 1 day old!! We were trying so hard to get the perfect picture--I think we got a few good ones.

This little guy was trying to eat her zipper--I think he was hungry! She thought it was hilarious!

Happy Easter!!

Well, the Turner house is getting a more and more excited everyday for this new little one that's coming soon!! I have about 4 weeks left till the due date and things are going great!! We had such a fun Easter and hope everyone else did. Josie loved dying Easter eggs and pretty much dyed all her little fingers along with the eggs! And she absolutely loves dressing up, so the Easter dress was welcomed and we actually had to have a back up "casual" dress for later that day, so that we didn't have a meltdown to take off the church dress. We also got together with the Anderson's and had a great time at Grampa Anderson's house the night before Easter. Josie had many Easter egg hunts with going to both grandparents houses, but she never got tired of that, or the Easter Bunny gifts! Hope everyone is well and maybe next time I write in the blog we will have pics of a new addition!!!

We got together for Grampa Turner and Isaac's birthday's-Josie's posing with Puma and Grandma LaVonne.

She actually blew out Isaac's candles before he could!

And we had to sing her "happy birthday" too, she thought it was her birthday!

What a cheeze!!!

I'm really pokin out now!! 8 months a counting!!!

Josie was singing and reading her baby a naptime book--she's so ready to be a Big Sister!

She had a blast dying Easter eggs.

Her favorite was the purple, of course.

She's so thoughtful! She made an egg for mom, dad, grandmas', grandpas' and even Duke--each with stickers to fit the person.

Sittin with Great Papa

Grandpa and all of his grandkids and great-grandkids!

Easter morning--she was so excited to wear this dress, it took some convincing to get the hat on, but once it was on, she didn't want it off!

She loved the gloves (she says globes), but she kept all her fingers spread and hands up like she had sterile hands and ready to perform surgery!! It was hilarious!

Spring is here!

Happy Spring!!! Hope everyone is enjoying this nice, warm weather!! We sure are...we can't even bribe Josie to come in the house from outside!! She's becoming more and more independent every day, which is so great, but bitter-sweet at the same time! She loves singing and playing the "piando" and playing dress up in her tutu, high-heels and tiara...we definately have a true girly girl on our hands! And we're all so excited as the baby's arrival is approaching in May. My tummy continues to grow and Josie loves to talk and sing to the baby thru my belly-button-she thinks it's some sort of microphone into the baby!! It's so sweet. Enjoy the pics and take care, everyone!

Josie loves wearing her dad's goggles and cuddling with Duke--he's so good with her!! I'm now about 8 months pregnant and growing everyday!!
