Happy Halloween!!

Our Halloween was a fun one! Josie was so excited and loved being Ariel from The Little Mermaid. She especially loved the red wig! Carly was our little flower and was such a trooper with all the stops we made visiting Grandma's and Grandpa's! Josie's also in dance class this year and the parent's finally got to watch a practice last week! It was the cutest thing! And Josie was so lucky to be picked the leader that day! They take turns each week and it just so happened that it was her turn, so she got to wear the big pink tutu! Perfect! Hope you all had a great Halloween!

At the end of class they all sit in a circle and listen so good to their teacher!

Sitting in line, waiting for tumbling-this is when their calm!

For the first half of class they practice tap.

Lining up to march in their tap shoes.

They also get to play with ribbons and that's Josie's favorite part!

Practicing their ballet steps...point, point, point.

Our Little Mermaid
she loved wearing the makeup!!

Jayda the butterfly! How adorable!

Josie was having a hard time sitting still here, she just wanted to get going to get the candy!!

Carly loves her jumperoo! She goes crazy!

Our sweet flower!

Josie got to finally start feeding Carly! She's wanted to for so long!!!
The funny part is she is deathly afraid of getting spit up on! I try to tell her that she spit up more than Carly does!

Josie got to Trick or Treat twice at my mom's work and on Halloween, she loved getting dressed up twice.

After a bath

What a cheez!

Our October

We've had alot of fun going to the Pumpkin Farm and watching or going to Iowa football this season! Josie started preschool at Montessori in early October and that was quite emotional for Zach and I! Our baby isn't a baby anymore!! She is absolutely loving it and can't wait to go each day! She's only going part-time, 3 days a week, but it wears her out! Carly was 5 months old on the 16th and she is trying so hard to scoot and crawl! It will be no time before she is! We'll be posting pics from Halloween soon, Josie can't wait to be Ariel from Little Mermaid! Happy Halloween!

This was hilarious! Josie was playing in Carly's room and I looked up and all we could see was Carly peering over her crib watching Josie! She watches her every move and smiles and laughs at everything she does!

Carly's bathtime! She loves her baths!!

Iowa vs. Michigan! Go Hawks!!

Josie's 1st day of school! She was so excited!

I got to watch Jayda one day and she was all dressed for a photo shoot!

These two are adorable!! They are seriously like twins, they do everything the same!

Carly loves her "Bumbo"!! Except now, she tries to twist out of it to be more mobile!

Such happy baby-dolls!!!
We HAVE to dress them the same!

Our little Halloween monster!

And our Hawkeye cheerleaders!!

Josie loves mauling her little sister, Carly loves it, too!

A day at the pumpkin farm. It was such a gorgeous day, too!

A family picture with all the pumpkins

Josie found the bunnies and we stayed there for a while, she was in heaven!

Our little punkins

Mom and Josie on the hayride (the wierd thing was there wasn't any hay on the wagon!)

Josie loved the air-jungle gym at the farm

What a scary ghost!!

Carving our pumpkins, Josie would not take out the insides! She kept saying "I'm worried!"

The girls with their pumpkins. Josie was so proud!

Busy, busy!!

Well, it has been way too long since I've been on here!!! All I can say is our September has been busy, busy!!! Labor Day weekend we celebrated the Anderson Farm being a century farm! It was a great time and such a proud day! Then, on Sept. 12th, yes, I turned the big 3-0!! Zach had a great party for me and I ran in a 1/2 marathon! It was a goal of mine to run in one after I had Carly and what better day than my birthday?! We've also been busy with Iowa football season, or should I say, Zach is busy :) I haven't been to as many games with two girls now, but the ones I've been to have been great fun! We also celebrated Josie's 3rd birthday!!! I can't believe our first baby is 3!! And she started preschool a couple of weeks ago! Needless to say I was a wreck! Then the last weekend in Sept, we traveled to Chicago for a friend's wedding that Zach was a groomsman in. We had a lot of fun and partied a little too hard! Zach also had a birthday that weekend--31!! He's an old man now! Carly was just 5 months old and started daycare so again, I was a wreck!! She's rolling everywhere now and really close to sitting on her own! Josie is just aching to play with her and for Carly to become mobile. She will be thinking differently when that really happens, I think! Well, enjoy the pictures and hopefully I'm sending more sooner than this time!

Carly at 3 months, she's such a funny baby!!

Josie thought this was the funniest thing to have Carly in her bed! She was laughing really loud and Carly looked petrified!!

I love this shirt she's wearing cuz it's soooo true!

Duke is such a good dog! He loves his girls so much and sleeps by them or thier door whenever they're sleeping.

Carly's first taste of cereal! Notice that her face isn't even dirty! She loved it so much she got every last bit!

Aaron and Julie's triplets celebrated their 1st birthday! What a happy occasion!!!
We made all the kids pose for a picture, Adam doesn't look too happy!

Jayda and Carly were Dedicated together and they both wore dresses made from my mom's wedding dress. They were beautiful!

Carly's Dedication

I love this look on her face! The dress was so huge, but adorable!

This was at the Century Farm pary. Josie just met Analise and gave her a big smooch. They were best friends from then on!

Josie is under the cow! My dad got this cow and parked it at the end of the driveway! Josie thought it was the best!

My aunt Jo wrote a toast to my Grandpa and Dad for farming. It was so touching and this was them toasting each other!

Josie got this leotard, tutu, wand and headband from Bryce and Lindsey for her birthday. She posed like this without even being told! Scary!

Uncle Bryce and Aunt Lindsey

We learned quickly that we had to buckle Carly in her bouncy seat, we found her like this while she was sleeping!

Anne and I ran the 1/2 marathon together! It was a great accomplishment!

Zach brought the girls to cheer me on, then we watched the Hawks beat Iowa State!

Josie and Emma eating together at my birthday party.

Again, she's posing. She's in dance classes now and LOVES them! Can you tell?

All the tailgating girls!

And the guys.

Carly at 4 months old! Look at those cheeks!

This guy we tailgate with has a blender hooked up to a motor with a throttle!! It's hilarious! And delicious!

Zach and I at the game! They beat Arizona!

Josie's 3rd birthday. We had it at her favorite place...Chuck E. Cheez!

Ready to blow out her candles!
There she goes! It took her a few tries!

She loved her Ariel cake that mom made! I personally thought she looked posessed, but as long as she loved it...

She loves to ride the helicopter!

I asked her if I could get a picture of her with her balloons from her birthday and this is what she did. What is going to be like in 10 years!!

This was our weekend in Chicago for Derek's wedding! We met Bryce and Lindsey out for a few drinks. That's the owner of the bar in the background!

Zach and I at the rehearsal dinner

Lindsey and I

Zach and Derek. Zach was a groomsman.

So Derek is a huge, huge Cubs fan and somehow he got access to Wrigley Field after his wedding!! The wedding party got to go and take pictures!! Zach was in his height of glory!!

He even had a "curtain call". He's such a little boy at heart!

Then we got back just in time for Zach's birthday! Him and his girls!
