It's a Girl!!

IT'S A GIRL!!! Here she is...Carly Abigail!! She was born on May 16th at 12:27 a.m.
Weighing 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 in. long. She looks just like Josie did when she was born!!! Everyone is doing fine and healthy!! We are soooooo blessed and happy for our two princesses! Josie is such a sweetheart, already kissing and talking "baby talk" to her! It's the sweetest thing I've ever seen. She's even "hogging" Carly and wanting no one else to hold her! I'll definately be posting more pics soon, just wanted to get a few up.

Josie's twin calves

I had to post these pictures of Josie with some twin calves at my parents' farm! She had so much fun playing with them, they were only 1 day old!! We were trying so hard to get the perfect picture--I think we got a few good ones.

This little guy was trying to eat her zipper--I think he was hungry! She thought it was hilarious!

Happy Easter!!

Well, the Turner house is getting a more and more excited everyday for this new little one that's coming soon!! I have about 4 weeks left till the due date and things are going great!! We had such a fun Easter and hope everyone else did. Josie loved dying Easter eggs and pretty much dyed all her little fingers along with the eggs! And she absolutely loves dressing up, so the Easter dress was welcomed and we actually had to have a back up "casual" dress for later that day, so that we didn't have a meltdown to take off the church dress. We also got together with the Anderson's and had a great time at Grampa Anderson's house the night before Easter. Josie had many Easter egg hunts with going to both grandparents houses, but she never got tired of that, or the Easter Bunny gifts! Hope everyone is well and maybe next time I write in the blog we will have pics of a new addition!!!

We got together for Grampa Turner and Isaac's birthday's-Josie's posing with Puma and Grandma LaVonne.

She actually blew out Isaac's candles before he could!

And we had to sing her "happy birthday" too, she thought it was her birthday!

What a cheeze!!!

I'm really pokin out now!! 8 months a counting!!!

Josie was singing and reading her baby a naptime book--she's so ready to be a Big Sister!

She had a blast dying Easter eggs.

Her favorite was the purple, of course.

She's so thoughtful! She made an egg for mom, dad, grandmas', grandpas' and even Duke--each with stickers to fit the person.

Sittin with Great Papa

Grandpa and all of his grandkids and great-grandkids!

Easter morning--she was so excited to wear this dress, it took some convincing to get the hat on, but once it was on, she didn't want it off!

She loved the gloves (she says globes), but she kept all her fingers spread and hands up like she had sterile hands and ready to perform surgery!! It was hilarious!

Spring is here!

Happy Spring!!! Hope everyone is enjoying this nice, warm weather!! We sure are...we can't even bribe Josie to come in the house from outside!! She's becoming more and more independent every day, which is so great, but bitter-sweet at the same time! She loves singing and playing the "piando" and playing dress up in her tutu, high-heels and tiara...we definately have a true girly girl on our hands! And we're all so excited as the baby's arrival is approaching in May. My tummy continues to grow and Josie loves to talk and sing to the baby thru my belly-button-she thinks it's some sort of microphone into the baby!! It's so sweet. Enjoy the pics and take care, everyone!

Josie loves wearing her dad's goggles and cuddling with Duke--he's so good with her!! I'm now about 8 months pregnant and growing everyday!!

Making a Snowman

Hi everyone!! Happy Valentine's Day! Just wanted to update you all on pics of us. I'm about 6 1/2 months pregnant now and it seems to be flying by! That's good, I guess! The baby is moving all the time and it's strong, too.

This was the most fun day!!! We played outside and made a snowman! Josie was absolutly hilarious, cuz she kept wanting to eat the carrot nose!! At first I thought she was trying to give him a kiss. Then, I realized that she wanted to eat it! What a nut!!!

maybe I'll just take a little bite...

No, this will work better, I'll put it right back...

Yummm!

Recently we moved Josie into her "big girl" bed and new room! She is taking the change fairly well, she loves that she can climb in her own bed and read books whenever she wants! And we were blessed with a few "warm"days last week so we ventured outside to play in the snow. Josie loved rolling, falling and making snow angels in the snow. It was quite a challenge getting her to come in the house after an afternoon of outdoor fun! Now its back to being cold and she begs to go outside! I'm trying to figure out how to add a video to the blog of her making snow angels, hopefully I can figure it out!

Christmas--New Years

O.K. So I've really gotten behind on this blog thing. Zach told me I needed to get some pictures in, and fast! So to the left is a picture of me at 5 months, I'm almost 6 months now. We had our ultrasound last week and everything is looking good...and we're going to wait to find out if we buy blue or pink! But the baby is healthy and doing great! I'm feeling it move and kick more and more everyday and Josie is so excited! She's going to be moving into her new room this weekend and new "big-girl" bed. She can't wait!

These next few pictures are from our weekend in Chicago with Bryce and Lindsey for New Year's Eve and Day. Zach worked up the nerve to sing some karaoke and we got to see the Winter Classic of the hockey game played on Wrigley Field. That was really cool!

Josie and her sweet cousin Sophie are playing with their new Christmas presents.

Christmas Eve at my parents house.

More Christmas photos--Josie had such a fun Christmas this year. She understood who Santa was, but she would not sit on his lap and let me know this several times; "I not sit on Santa's lap" Which was just fine! She did wave to him, though! And she got so many great presents from grandparents and aunts and uncles--she's definately spoiled!

Bathtime is always one of her favorites--she loves the water!
